Welcome to the Drama Department
Crieff High School’s Drama dept was introduced in 2004, and is proving to be a popular and successful subject.
Each pupil currently has one period of Drama each week through S1 and S2, then can opt for Standard Grade Drama, delivered over 3 periods weekly.
Also on offer are the options of Intermediate 2 and Higher Drama for Senior pupils, taught over 5 to 6 periods per week.
The Drama dept is run by Mr Leadbitter, who taught at Forfar Academy for six years before he arrived at Crieff High. Mr Leadbitter is also involved in technical support for the school show, as well as having directed ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’ in 2005.
Senior Drama pupils have presented their work to public audiences each year, and will be doing so again this year.

5-14 Drama
Standard Grade Drama
Intermediate 2 Drama
Higher Drama
Currently, around 10% of the school population attends standard Grade or Int2/Higher classes.
