Aims if the Guidance Department

to ensure that each pupil knows and is known personally and in some depth by their guidance teacher.
to consider the pupils, personal, social and intellectual development.
to identify and respond quickly and appropriately to the specific needs of the individual.
to foster and develop good relationships between teachers and pupils.
to work with the home in all aspects of pupil development.
to liaise with Support and Welfare Services.
to provide a relevant and stimulating programme of personal, social, health and careers education.
